123movies Casino Stud Poker - Thrilling Poker Experience
Casino Stud Poker is an exciting table game where you play against the dealer, not other players. It's a simplified version of traditional poker, perfect for both new and experienced players. At 123movies, we ensure professional live dealers, high-quality streaming, and fair gameplay.
At 123movies Casino Stud Poker tables, you'll find competitive payouts, progressive jackpots that can climb to lakhs of BDT, and side bet options that boost your winning chances. The game is quick to learn thanks to simple rules, yet skill can be developed through strategic play.
Casino Stud Poker Rules and Gameplay
Before you start playing at the 123movies Stud Poker table, it's important to understand the basic rules of the game. This game is played with a standard 52-card deck, and a fresh deck is used for each round.
Place Ante Bet
Each round begins with an ante bet. At 123movies tables, the minimum ante starts from BDT 20 and can go up to BDT 10,000. You can also place an optional progressive jackpot side bet for just BDT 10.
Card Deal
The dealer gives you and themselves five cards each. All your cards are face up so you can see them. Four of the dealer's cards are face down and one is face up for you to see.
Make Your Decision
Looking at your hand and the dealer's open card, you must decide - either fold (surrender and lose the ante) or call (bet double the ante and continue playing). At 123movies, you have ample time to make this decision.
Dealer Qualify Check
If you Call, the dealer reveals their hand. To qualify, the dealer must have at least Ace-King or better. If the dealer doesn't qualify, your Ante pays 1:1 and the Call bet pushes.
Hand Comparison and Payouts
If the dealer qualifies, hands are compared. If your hand beats the dealer's, both Ante and Call pay out. 123movies follows standard poker hand rankings and pays bonuses on high hands.
Poker Hand Rankings and Payouts
Knowing the different hand rankings is essential for success in 123movies Casino Stud Poker. Below are the hands from highest to lowest and their payouts.
A-K-Q-J-10 of the same suit. The strongest hand.

These payouts at 123movies apply only to the Ante bet when your hand is a Straight or better. Call bet payout is always 1:1 if you win.
Progressive Jackpot and Side Bets
A special attraction of 123movies Casino Stud Poker is the progressive jackpot side bet. This optional wager gives you the chance to win massive prizes even if you lose the main hand.
How the Progressive Jackpot Works
At the start of each round, you can place a progressive jackpot bet for just BDT 10. This bet is independent of your main Ante and pays if your initial five cards contain a Flush or better. The 123movies jackpot grows daily and sometimes exceeds BDT 50 lakh.

Casino Stud Poker Strategy and Tips
While Casino Stud Poker involves luck, the right strategy can significantly increase your chances of winning. Professional players at 123movies follow these tips.
Basic Strategy
- Always Call on a Pair or Better: Always Call if you have a Pair or better. Mathematically, it's the most profitable decision.
- Ace-King Strategy: If you have Ace-King, Call if the dealer's up card is Queen or lower and you hold a Queen or Jack.
- Fold on Weak Hands: If you have a hand weaker than Ace-King, it's usually best to fold. This will reduce your losses in the long run at 123movies.
- Consider the Progressive Bet: If the jackpot is large (over BDT 30 lakh), the progressive side bet has value.
- Bankroll Management: Bet 1-2% of your total bankroll per hand so you can enjoy longer gaming sessions.
- Watch the Dealer's Up Card: The dealer's up card is crucial to your decision. A high card means the dealer is more likely to qualify.
Advanced Strategy
Experienced 123movies players make more complex decisions in Ace-King situations. If you have Ace-King and the dealer shows a Queen, consider whether you have other high cards. If you have a Jack or Queen that matches the dealer's card, calling is profitable.

123movies offers different poker games, each with its own appeal. Here's how Casino Stud Poker compares to other popular variants.
Casino Stud vs Texas Hold'em
Texas Hold'em is the most popular poker variant where you play against other players and use community cards. Casino Stud Poker is simpler—just you against the dealer with no community cards. 123movies offers both games, but Stud is easier for beginners.
Casino Stud vs Three Card Poker
Three Card Poker is a faster game using just three cards. Casino Stud Poker is a five-card game with more strategic depth. Stud Poker follows standard poker hand rankings that players will recognize.
Casino Stud vs Omaha
Omaha poker is complex and played with four hole cards. Casino Stud Poker is simple and fast-paced. The Stud Poker tables at 123movies are the perfect choice for those who want straightforward rules with thrilling gameplay.
